Her real name is Jianan, but everyone knows her as Janet. She traded a solid finance career at State Street in 2020 to chase her real passion: food. By 2022, she’d already won RTE’s Takeaway Titans, beating 15 top restaurants across Ireland.
But her story started way back in Dalian, China, watching her grandmother make dumplings from scratch. Today, that heritage is in her hands and it’s exactly what you taste in YiBU. A style of food that feels personal, expressive and full of life. Rooted in Asian flavour, shaped by Dublin energy and made for people who love food with a bit of spark.
